Manners for the Real World: Basic Social Skills - DVD
We produced this manners video to show students from upper elementary through high school how to act during some of the most common interactions between people. It features clear, straightforward demonstrations of appropriate and inappropriate behavior -- and we added a dash of fun to keep adolescent attention spans engaged.
Because we're describing, demonstrating and reviewing specific situations, the video is also attuned to the way many children with social skill deficits need to absorb information. SUBTITLES: This DVD includes three versions of this program: the regular program, a second version with subtitles for viewers who are deaf or hard of hearing, learning English as a second language, or are visual learners, and a third version with Spanish subtitles.

Just wanted to let you know that we received the (Manners) video and have watched it several times. My son is 12 and loves the humor! He likes it so much he wants to show it to his weekly social skills club. As a parent I think the video is very well done and a great resource for families like ours. This DVD is produced in the North American NTSC video format. Europe and Australia use the PAL video standard. This NTSC video will play in "dual format" DVD and VHS players designed to accommodate both NTSC and PAL videos.
