The DVD contains four programsthree for siblings of different ages and developmental levels, and one for their parents. The sibling programs are for children ages 4 to 7, ages 7 to 12 and ages 12 to adult.  The program explores how siblings have learned to get along with, support and enjoy brothers and sisters who have Asperger Syndrome.  The program also can help parents understand the special needs of their neurotypical children. The segments for siblings ages 4-7 feature puppets and the segments for older siblings feature interviews with brothers and sisters. We interviewed mothers and fathers for the parent segments.

After viewing these programs, siblings should have a better understanding that their brothers and sisters aren't trying to be difficult, and should be more willing to treat them with tolerance, caring and respect.

This DVD features interviews with family members supporting children with Asperger Syndrome.  A similar program, Understanding Brothers and Sisters on the Autism Spectrum, contains interviews with different families supporting children who a range of autistic conditions.
